Throughout the COVID pandemic the social sector (charitable community services sector) endured a very demanding period and a long-term resource is required to bulwark the sector for the current and future challenges. The mental health impact on leaders and workers in community service organisations has been considerable. They have responded to the unrelenting needs of the community during the COVID pandemic and now in the COVID recovery phase. Many organisations have also responded to floods and bushfires.
The Resilience and Wellbeing Hub will be a go-to resource for the charitable sector on all matters related to organisational and individual mental health and leadership. Organisations will be able to access fit for purpose resources, such as self-paced learning and trainings, webinars, tailored consultations and downloadable resources. The Hub will curate, aggregate and develop content, alongside subject matter specialists and leading mental health organisations, including but not limited to Phoenix, Beyond Blue and other well regarded experts.
