In 2024, Melbourne Women’s Foundation celebrates its 10th anniversary of bringing together individuals united by purpose to make a meaningful difference in the lives of women.     

Trish Khoury and her sister Natalie are the forces behind the Basstris Charitable Fund, a beacon of hope and empowerment for women and girls facing adversity. Drawing upon their deep-rooted commitment to social justice and equality, they have created a Charitable Fund Account to help women and girls navigate the turbulent waters of disadvantage, family violence, and poverty.

A life-long commitment to supporting charities and involvement in his local community led Robert Masters AM to join the Board of Lord Mayor’s Charitable Foundation in 2005. Robert served on the Board for 10 years and was Chair from 2012 to 2015.  

While 2014 marked the end of an era for the Commercial Travellers' Association of Victoria as it ceased operation, the Association continues to support future generations of the Melbourne community with the establishment of a charitable fund account with Lord Mayor's Charitable Foundation.

John knows from his lived experience, the devastating impact that grief can have on a person. After the death of his beloved daughter Heather in 2005, John turned to The Compassionate Friends (TCF) for support.

A talented jazz musician, Geoff Barlow feels he has had a fortunate life, blessed with the support of his close-knit family and a successful business in financial services. It was this strong family support, that helped Geoff and his family endure first the death their son Chris and then more recently granddaughter Bethany.
