Women in Philanthropy
The Lord Mayor's Charitable Foundation believes everyone has the opportunity to become a philanthropist. The Foundation has established a special giving program for women who wish to make a difference with impact in the community and support the work of the Foundation.
There are many ways in which you can begin your philanthropic journey with the Foundation.
We have a series of Donor Conversations in which you might like to attend to learn about how philanthropy works to create and support positive social changes in our society.
If you would like to take a further step into learning more about philanthropy you are invited to join one of our Giving Circles. Giving Circles can be an exciting way to develop your philanthropic giving whilst engaging with like-minded people who share a common goal or interest.
The Melbourne Women's Fund is a newly established giving circle and is a giving account and charitable fund account with the Lord Mayor's Charitable Foundation.

Our Giving Circles are being established to provide you with opportunity to connect and work as a group to support the Foundation's grants program, a particular cause area or to support a particular charity through fundraising. You may also consider working with us as part of our broader granting program.
