As the Foundation celebrates 100 years and we reflect on the impact we’ve made through generations of community philanthropy, our sights are firmly set on the future.  

Our hundred-year legacy has seen us combating some of the most pressing issues of our time. When hospitals needed help, we’ve funded services and equipment. When bushfires raged, we’ve funded community recovery and supported the rebuilding of housing. When newly arrived migrants needed support, we were there to welcome them. With a history now spanning one hundred years, the Lord Mayor’s Charitable Foundation knows Melbourne better than anyone. 

Today, the Foundation is proactively addressing economic inclusion, community resilience, homelessness, and climate change. We have the experience but for what’s next - we need you.
