Addressing inequities in healthy ageing
Remove service barriers and provide opportunities that improve the wellbeing and social inclusion of older people experiencing disadvantage.
1.1 Improve equitable access to services, supports, spaces and knowledge that supports healthy ageing.
Building community resilience in the face of climate change
Support communities to build networks, social infrastructure and community connections to respond to the social and health impacts of climate change.
2.1 Increase awareness and understanding of the health impacts of climate change.
2.2 Enable those experiencing vulnerability and disadvantage to become climate resilient.
2.3 Build community capacity, especially in areas with higher levels of disadvantage, to respond to and withstand extreme weather and disaster.
Strengthening social cohesion and reducing discrimination
Provide young people who are marginalised or excluded with opportunities to equally participate in and connect to community, increasing mutual respect and understanding of diversity in communities.
