Winter Days of Giving with 3AW

The Lord Mayor’s Charitable Foundation has been helping charitable agencies in Melbourne and across Victoria for over 88 years.
This August we need your help to support charities that are doing exceptional work for people living in need in their local community.
‘Winter Days of Giving’ is an opportunity for you to do something wonderful for your community.
Nominate your favourite charity to possibly receive one of 23 x $5000 grants.
Listen to 3AW’s Neil Mitchell every weekday throughout August to find out if your favourite charity has been successful. Neil will announce successful charities on his program.
In 50 words or less, please explain why you believe your nominated charity should receive a $5,000 grant. To be eligible, your charity must have Deductible Gift Recipient (DGR) status from the Australian Taxation Office.
Nominate your favourite charity by downloading the nomination form, completing the details and mailing to the Lord Mayor’s Charitable Foundation as soon as possible. Nominations close on Friday 5 August 2011.
