Each year the Lord Mayor's Charitable Foundation receives and evaluates grants applications from charities and not-for-profit organisations seeking financial assistance for various human care and community welfare projects and programs.
There are five categories in which you can apply for funding from General Grants.
- Family
- Health
- Lifecare
- Environment
- Arts, Sport and Education
The grants process is managed by the Foundation's Director of Grants and Philanthropy Leigh Wallace who is assisted by Grants Co-ordinator Robyn Stanton. Each application is allocated to a grants funding category for assessment by one of the five Grants Advisory Panels.
Members of each panel assist in the grant making process by reviewing each submission, conducting interviews and visiting applicants to assess their needs.
There are two types of grants available for application:
- General Grants: funding up to $50,000.
- Major Grants: funding up to $150,000.
